# kagami
Git mirroring and backup tool
## What is this
We live in a society. Actual 1984. It's not uncommon for software to be pulled from the internet
due to various reasons, rogue maintainers, hacking, legal threats from big scary companies, etc.
This tool makes it easier for us to keep archives and backups of git repositories we care about,
and to protect against things like mass deletion of bug tracker entries, forcepushing deletion of
git history, etc. It is intended to be used together with something like `cgit`, but can also be
used just as a normal backup tool.
