vi sucks, our serial connection sucks.
Write a script that

  • Checks out pvv.m4 and similar files
  • Transfer file from a modern computer (e.g. over serial / FTP)
  • Verify file integrity (transfer it back or hash the file on dvask)
  • Check the files in
  • Build the changes with make

Done, https://git.pvv.ntnu.no/Drift/PVV-DNS is now automatically deployed to https://wiki.pvv.ntnu.no/wiki/Maskiner/smask

The same build process can be re-used if/when we resurrect dvask, with a new thin deploy script
