84f43ccde8 LogInit: default to stderr on Windows 
Don't require "log_file" setting, for "--no-config" operation.

c843bce9f5 LogLevel: rename DEFAULT to NOTICE 
"DEFAULT" is a bad name - all it says is that it's the default value,
but it doesn't say what it means.  The name NOTICE mimics the syslog
level.

3e0ceb12d5 LogInit: rename "secure" to "info" 
Calling this "secure" never made sense.  Messages about client
connects are just a small part of what gets logged as "secure",
a.k.a. "info".

97425d56e7 remove gcc_unused 
[[maybe_unused]] (introduced in C++17) is standard C++.

https://clang.llvm.org/docs/AttributeReference.html#maybe-unused-unused
says that this is equivalent to the GNU unused attribute.

ab9f5d2067 replace assert.h with cassert 
The former was deprecated with C++14.

According to the C++11 and C++17 standards, both files are identical.

dfaf08743c *: check defined(_WIN32) instead of defined(WIN32) 
Only _WIN32 is defined by the compiler, and WIN32 is not standardized
and may be missing.

d5dfe7d457 configure.ac: add option "--disable-glib" 
Allows building without GLib.  This fails to compile currently,
because GLib is still used in the MPD core.
