It would be nice if this could cooperate a bit better with the calendar-bot, and put the recurring events in a database table. That would also let us enable/disable recurring events without having to open a PR every time (or potentially even let use pause them for a specified amount of time).

Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
