<div class="body-text">日本政府は、日本の農林水産物や食品の輸出額を2030年に5兆円とする目標を掲げています。<br /><br />こうした中、政府は日本食材の魅力をアピールしようと、JETRO＝日本貿易振興機構の現地事務所と連携し、今月9日からトロントで開かれているカナダ最大の食品の見本市「レストラン・カナダ・ショー」に15年ぶりにブースを出展しました。<br /><br />会場には500を超えるブースが出展され、このうち日本のブースでは岩手県のブランド牛「いわて牛」や、愛媛県で養殖されたシマアジ、それに福島県産の日本酒などがふるまわれました。</div>

<div class="body-text">また、会場に設けられたステージでは、大使公邸の料理人が魚をさばくパフォーマンスや、おにぎり製造機の実演が行われ、自動的におにぎりが出てくると集まった人たちから拍手が沸き起こりました。<br /><br />「いわて牛」を試食したレストランの経営者は「とてもおいしくて刺激を受けた。自分の店でもお客さんに食べてもらいたい」と話していました。<br /><br />現地の日本総領事館の佐々山拓也総領事は「行列ができるなど予想以上の手応えがあった。これを機に、産地と外国の消費者やレストランをつなぎたい」と話していました。</div>
