Currently, there are a bunch of edits done on top of existing config files, spanning about a decade worth of upgrades and stuff. It would be cool if we could figure out what is our config, what is upstream config, and split them out. Maybe even version control our "overlayed" config (if you can call it that) in a separate repository or in salt.
